Have you tried pressing the reset point on this player?

I think there is a small hole on the right bottom side corner

shinjisan 17th Jul 2008 2:34 pm

Hello, but there is the reset button only switches off the device but not reset the settings.
I tried to press the buttons in various combinations hold also reset the ignition and others but have not achieved results.
The player continues to maintain its settings.
I do not know what to do I tried to control the electronic board to find something to disconnect the battery but nothing.
Obviously the information is stored on flash memory and only something preset acting to software or hardware can reset the unit.
Maybe making a firmware update settings would be reset, but I do not know what kind of firmware seek and where to find it.
Still await some answers, I hope someone can find a solution, thanks.
A courteous greeting to all.

Have you tried the Rockchip DEAD player recovery guide here?

http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...582.html#50582

hhh666 has recovered his player (same type as yours) just by shorting the pins to get a re-boot.
Best to try this first, don't try to install another firmware, you will probably BRICK you player!!

Good luck..

shinjisan 18th Jul 2008 2:42 pm

Hello, I have not looked at his post, however I have already tried to reset .... We had thought about making short on motherboard I also tried to create interference in the data player and then to make contacts into the motherboard in flash ram in the cpu in whatever could send tilt in the player and cause a loss of configuration a restart settings something, but nothing ..... continues to maintain settings ....
PS: its Reset reset only settings such as setting the volume equalizer mode of Play etc. but not the system settings such as language or the alignment of touch screnn ....
I was thinking about unsolder the flash and extrapolate the firmware directly with the PC.
For one thing, now I remembered .... and forgot to write and that this misalignment matrix touch occurred after I tried to use software "s1fwx" to read the firmware ... may have been that to create problems?
But nevertheless continue to do tests on this player, now has become a guinea pig laboratory I did not how to recover it unless I find a firmware to call to reset everything.

how did you use s1wfx to read the firmware???

there is no access to the firmware t all on the player, this should be not a problem

from what i can se you hve tried everything

if you have followed the dead player recovery guide and not been able to get it into update mode then i can see no more to do, you need to make sure you are touching the right parts of the chip and do it several times to make a connection

i am unsure how to help you now, you seem to have done many things and no luck, you may have damaged the player by doing tooo much at one

sorry but i am at a loss now, i hope someone can help you out, but i fear you have done too much and gone too far for us to really understand whats happening
