Only sync so many songs before it disconnects
 

I have a rockchip rk2608a MP4. I can only sync so many songs before it disconnects. Then I have to restart my computer before it will connect again.

Then, even though I may only have 1Gb worth of music on it, it might show that it is empty or has less than it is supposed to.

Finally some songs it misplays even though they are not corrupt. I need lots of help.

I would recommend FORMATTING your player for starters. There maybe corruptions in the hard disk that is giving you these problems. Try formatting it within Windows and see what happens.

Hi All,

I have an LG model UP3 # player. It operates in two modes. MTP and MSC. When I first connected it was in MSC mode. In this mode it behaves like a USB drive. It's a 2GB and I was able to sync 2GB worth of music to it. It all worked well. So I guess it doesn't have the memory hack.

The only thing I could not do is select a folder. Reading the manual, it says to use MTP sync mode with Media Player 10+.

I changed the mode, it installed new device. Now I get random disconnections when I try to sync. However, when I trasfered files one at a time, I got enough through to check that the Artist/Album selection feature works.

I have apdated the firmware in the device and uninstalled the device driver in Windows but still no luck. I also format the player using it's own menu item. I would appreciate any advice.
