PRoblem with mp5 player rockship

Hello !

I bought a mp5 player on ebay:

--> http://cgi.befr.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI...m=150273843296

but i don't find the firmware and the switch off doesn't work

When the player is connected with the computer, I have 2 disk:

the first --> i have formated
the second --> i can't go in

can you help me please ?

the switch off oes not work, you mean it wont turn off, have you held the switch long enough

try
holding power switch for 10-15 seconds to try and reset the player

2nd drive is the sd card slot, if no card in the player then you will not be able to access it

These unbranded don't have firmware "upgrades" as such, like the big name brands do.

But the existing firmware can be easily extracted as a backup, in fact it is a good idea to do so., then you have a firmware that you know works in case you need to restore your player or if you want to mod it.

All you need is here:-

To upload your extracted firmware go to this page:-
http://www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php (you will need to be logged in)
Then click on the drop down "Select a category", scroll down to "uploads by members" and press enter, then at the top of the screen you will see an "Upload" button, then just click on it to go to the upload screen, and please remember to include a photo of your player.
