The manual says that on the CD there's software for firmware update
but mine has only the AVI converters
Can someone upload the firmware tool for this model?

You need the consumerUpdate program from the downloads section.

If you do try the firmware there is a VERY HIGH you will KILL your player, but if you want to try and not worried by this then the choice is yours, but there will be NO going back.

BTW the Rkusb.tag is for the NEW Rockchip 27xx series players only, which are now the better and recommended players to buy.

I just want to update the firmware to remove the speaker bug, and if possible modify the start up end edning picture
in some of those links peaople say that 0.000.02 firmware is the most stable
If I could find the original somewhere on the net

I found a firmware for 2608A
but not sure ; the uploader says: use only with bricked players , not with working one
Knob, if I find something, I should upload it for you to see is it OK

Sorry but I cannot help you with this, I can not know if the firmware is OK or not, But it most likely NOT OK.

These are not a good type of player to upgrade the firmware or to do modding.

If you want to mod your player then the best is the NEW Rockchip 27xx series player.

If killing your player would make you sad then please don't try to update this player it is a bad idea.

I think that the firmwares from the linka are "good"
but using Refresh firmware 3.1.2.0
gives me a error USB device not found
I need Product Tool No Dog 2.4.0
WHICH should come with my CD
PLS if you ca find this tool upload it
because in the manual pictures this software is shown
I searched the web but no one have updated this tool
