I have 2 broken of these ,my daughters died completely & the screen doesn't work on mine. The question is it possible to swap screens over & is there much to do if it is possible?
or do i just bin them, i tried the repair dead player but no joy.

well swapping the screns may be worth try as they are both dead, but these players screens are soldered in quite finely, and not plugged in, so removing and reattaching will probably caise problems

i would say ty

oh and if they were bought at different times, even if you can get it soldered the player may not have the requied firmware o handle the different screen

dont buy any more of these players now, they are outdated, that is, if you are thinking if getting a new player

hey try flashing the firmware it it has a disk that came with it put it in your computer and see if you have a bin file in there drag it out and put it on your desktop then remove the cd heres the hard part open both mp4 and look where the memory chip is put the memory where the letters are facing your way then get a small flat head screw driver and use it to connnect/touch the first two pins on top and on the other side touch the bottom 2 pins together then hook it up to your computer and see it should list as a afdu or somthing like that and then follow the flashing/updating firmware thread and you should be ready to go

oh and the bin file should be the firmware
