Default what is the firmware of my MP4?


can anyone tell me how to identify the firmware for my MP4? i tried s1fwx 2.6 here

but it doesnt detect when i tried to scan, although there is already removable disk popup on my win xp after plug into usb.

anyone can show me where to get the latest firmware for this model? my Mp4 model is STORM AT-424

i really do not think there will be any updates at all for your player, unless the STORM company has them

s1fwx will not work as that is for players with totally different chips

your player design can be seen on many sites and also uses different hardware in some of the machines, yours looks lke a sunplus or anyka chip, other versions of this design uses rockchip

problem here is that these players are rarely made for updates, no matter what the details say

so be carefull, try and update this and you may break it

as STORM, if they have no firmware then do not attempt it at all or it wil break and it may be impossible to get it back working again

besides, updates will add no features as these players are mass produced for quick sales and not longevity
