Default I cant install music on my mp3/4 player "music no limit

My son wanted a mp4 player and when he looked on ebay found 1 that looked like a nano. Its made by "Music no limit"
The problem is we cant seem to do anything with it. We can add music or add firmware. What do we do?

Some questions for you:

1. What happens when you plug your player into your computer with a USB cable?
2. Does it come up with any error messages?
3. Does your computer show up your player's drive from "My Computer"?

When I plug it in it just makes the sound to say a device has been connected. In my computer it shows up labled removable disk (L).
When i go into windows media player or real player it doesnt recognise any devices.
If i try to open the file i get the message "The disc in drive L is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?" When I have selected yes it will go ahead and try to format it but then always replyies that it can't. I don't know if i was supose to go that route but that seems to be the only thing i didn't try.

You should be able to see the drive and use it like a USB memory stick.

When you get messages liks "do you want to format now", it generally means that's Windows has a problem connecting to your device.

So, what you can try is using ANOTHER USB CABLE instead to see if that helps. In the past, a lot of problems has been solved just by swapping another USB cable.

Also try connecting your player using another USB cable to a DIFFERENT COMPUTER as well to see if you can read off it.

If you are still having problems, then I would say that there is a corruption or problem with the instal memory chip.
