is there a problem with the palyer

finding compatible firmware is very difficult for these no-brand players and could result in problems

the version number you gave is really just that, a number, do not use this as any kind of reference

if there is no problem with the player then i would say leave it, unless you like to experiment but with a possibility of breaking the player

if you mean that you want to add more games then sometimes thisis possible

if when starting a game it takes you direct to tetris then no, you can not add or change the games, if when entering the games you come to a game selection screen then it is possible to add a few more

BUT its not possible to swap tetris for another game as the game is included in the firmware and the problem is again, finding the right firmware

many of these players used the same version firmware as yours but configured for their particular hardware

there will be no update that will give you what you need/want, the version number of the firmware is still appearing on players made today because the number means nothing most of the time

the only possible way is to rip your palyer apart and gather together all the number from the chip. memory chip. board id, screen numbers and serch that way but i am 99.9% sure that even if you did find a matching firmware it will be that same as what you have

these players are produced by many different factories using similar outer casing but different internals and they all use the version number you have, so the version number is dangerous and should not be used as any guide

by default players that have only 1 game always have tetris

i know, this can be frustrating and the cause of many broken players .. maybe its time to upgrade to a new rockchip model that CAN backup firmware andis easy to mod, check out this thread for some new models with the newer and better rockchip

cheers, but it is a fruitless task trying to find a firmware only to be confronted with either the same firmware or a bricked player

I have a question about this player. The product description says it supports mini SD card, but it does not mention the maximum capacity of mini SD. Does it support 4Gb mini SD?
thanks
