Can't read subfolders within the "audio" folder

Good Pm

thanks to this site i was able to do much on my older ipod nano clone player especialy ont he video conversion part.

i had this new mp4 player i bought which looks exactly as this one:
http://www.rihey.cc/MP5-player/MP5-2...rs-2GB-K30.htm

but mine is labaled SONY(without model number or any identification anywhere) i just want to know if what firmware(hacked or better one) i can use on this. also i want to check if im a victim of "memory hack" but i cant seem to use the "mp3 player disk tool" on it. so anyone can point out other ways to check if this is a memory hack?

now since this is still in warranty, i cant open it up to see the board make. i have to wait for a month :(

but my real concern now is if anyone can help about its audio player or the player itself. becuase i usually categorize my music by putting them into different folders. but this players seems only to read music files under "audio" folder on its memory. i try to put my other folders into "audio" and even on the "root" but i cant browse to those folders. i can only see those songs in "audio" folder.

if someone can help, much better. hack firmware, or shortcuts i dont know of etc etc

thanks...

Re: Can't read subfolders within the "audio" folde

after much research about my mp4-player, i discovered that this unit has a chipset "SUNPLUS SPMP3052A".

ive tried to look for the same model for firmware but i cant find any. i got another mp4 player from a friend, kinda the same look, has the same menu structure and all. but i noticed that his unit is able to charge tru USB, but mine doesnt.

if anyone has the same unit, with better or hacked firmware i would like to have a copy pls. if theres a way for the music explorer to browse folders, then much better...

thanks
