help with formating my pmp player?

first of all i would like to say thank you to the people who created this site for chinapod users  well on to my problem...my pmp player is been acting really crazy lately...i can save and load files but its longer than it should be like im putting in a 100mb video which usually takes 10-13 mins but now it takes 30-40 mins!! well i soon found out that there are some strange things popping in and out of my pmp player..at first it shows no sign of my player slowing down but when i keep on checking it out this strange unknown files keep showing up like a autorun notepad file or some unknown .exe i didnt have chance on capturing them(and by THEM i mean there are atleast 6 of them hiding in and poping out) they keep on hiding once i tried to delete them...so normally id do the formatting drill but guess what? i CANT!! reason you say? simple when i press format on"MY COMPUTER" the i chose "removable disk f" the finally format something came out...it seems the computer does not want me to format because the files and i mean those THINGS are still running and so the formatting can not be performed...wow what a bunch of smart sh*** these things are ehehhe :x sigh...well is there any way to force format or force deletion these things...thank you for reading this long and entertaining/boring post~

have you tried a virus scan on the player, sounds like you have one both on the player and possibly the machine aswell

do you have any of the name of the files

if you cant see anything you need to enable hiden files in your computer

bad shit!!!!
