Default MP4 screen seems not to work

I bought a new MP4, ou it to charge till the next day. Next day, i try to turn it on, and nothing happens, the only things that happens is that the lcd turns purple. Nothing shows, no menus, nothing at all... The lcd just lights up purple. I plug it into my pc, and it loads normal, i can see the photos and audio that come with it, i can open it with mp3 player utilities. It's a lisong. After trying to press all the buttons, i just discovered today that it actually recorded my voice once!

So my guess is: it does work, but the issue is with the screen. Ah, ther's a reset button on it, i reseted it many times, the file are still there, but it still doesn't work..

Can somebody help me?

Alright it looks as tho you have downloaded my firmware.

Download this and do what he says.
http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...ion-df894.html

After that make a backup of your firmware. Then make another backup of your firmware just for safe keeping.

Then just unzip my firmware and copy it over to yours(drop and drag or copy and paste). Then once its done reset it with the reset button and then your good to go.

Also go to this site:
http://www.mympxplayer.org/please-up...ay-vt1829.html
and upload (click the little upload button) your original firmware. Just .zip or .rar your firmware and upload it.

ALP1987

the process you described is not for that player type im afraid as it uses a different system altogether, there is no way yet to extract firmware from those players
