Is the size of this chip 4GB? - HY27UV08BG5M
The player is (I think, anyway) a BKEESTAR, BKS25002KV11 [sub:25b59a1339]Ding0523[/sub:25b59a1339]. Its memory chip's markings/text are arranged something like this on the chip...

Below this chip was an empty space that looks like it could hold another one of these chips, labeled SLAVER. Could anybody either tell me the size of the chip, or if my "4GB" player is hacked? For the record, if it's hacked, it is a 4GB, 1.8 in. screen ipod nano clone from davismicro.com EDIT: Yes, I have searched google for HY27UV08BG5M. From the results, I haven't learned anything. There were a couple hits for a 32 Gb - Nevermind. I don't think that it's hacked. 32 Gb / 8 = 4 GB, right? |
There is a document in the downloads to help with this:- http://www.mympxplayer.org/nand-flas...ion-df644.html
It's the BG bit in your chip's code that says it's 32Gb, so yes Tweak1029, that looks right 32/8 = 4Gb. it goes like this 8G = 8G AG = 16G BG = 32G CG = 64G , etc |
