USB power trasformer LEDs

Hi,

anybody who owns an AC/DC USB adapter like this:

knows what the red and green leds man?
When I put it into a socket the red one turns on, but I have never seen the green one on...

The green one should be on whilst charging, but then only go out when the battery is fully charged.

The red will be on all the time whilst the charger is plugged in any event.

If the green LED never comes on then you have an open charging circuit, could be a bad battery or a disconnected wire in the charger or player.
