what the heck is my mp4 player - only know its rockchip
Can anyone help pls. when my mp4 player connects to PC says its a rockchip but have been unable to extract the firmware. wanting to see if i can format as having some probs with the camera - pretty useless as focal length about 15cm in front of lens. Anyway if anyone could help me with this would be fantastic.
also any help with getting the firmware backed up on my pc would be appreciated. have tried putting the teclast.sys etc on the mp4 player to no avail. plus the people i bought from have mysteriously disappeared from the website and havent replied to last couple of emails. it isnt hacked as definitely fits 8GB on and most stuff plays v well tho screen a little dark and barely visible in strong light link below show identical player to mine. also cut and pasted the specs here for perusal. This is an older 2608 type Rockchip player, sorry to say but you can't extract the firmware.
You are stuck with the firmware you got on these players. |
Re: what the heck is my mp4 player - only know its rockchip
crap. so there is no way to do anything to change the camera software? its simply not adjustable
|
no, not adjustable, your best course of action is a return and either cash back or replace
firmware just is not available for these players, sorry |
