Default My MP4 players makes my computer go slow!!!


Hi !
My mp4 player has been go really well ever since i got not that long ago, but ever since a day or two ago if i plug it in it makes my computer go slow and mouse doesn't responde.Its not a virus as i am running the latest norton 360. I just want if it has happended to anyone else.

Hi spoony,

What happens if you plug your player into another computer instead? Does that also make that computer go slow?

Also, how long does it go slow for? Perhaps Norton has been updated and started scanning your player's drive? Try DISABLING your antivirus software temporarily then plug your player in and see if it's slow then.

spoony,

i could be a virus, there is a couple of recent viruses which nor mcafee or norton av dectect, i don't know the cause but i have mcafee support and they toldme, they know the existence but they haven't vacine yet.

thanks for the replies it is definently not a virus as i have used different software and it doesn't pick any thing up
