Anyone familiar with feastronics??????

I would like to be informed if anyone is familiar with mp4 player from ferastronics www.feastronics.co.uk . I have the 8gb model with the 3inch touch screen. I thing is a rockchip chip but i don;t know the model. I only want to display cover albums when a play a file. Everything else is ok oh and if i can to change the backround exept the ones it has.

Yes the player looks like the one mentioned in the link but there are three players from feastronics and if you can see in the link i posted it's in United Kingdom.The menu for example is from the cheeper model. Mine's menu looks exactly like onda. When i bought it form amazon.co.uk i thought that the onda was the fake one(after all they are all chinese). I don't know about the firmware the company responded that they can't send the firmware (probably all the firmwares are copied). It plays ok no really bugs quick enough with photos ok with videos. But i need that damned cover art and optionally the desktop wallpaper.I already asked company but they responded it can't be done (i didn't expect something different)

Any help would be more than appreciated

none of what you ask can be done, it was never implemented in any firmware for any of these player

these players were originally onda and then copied with varying degrees of reliability

no one (not even onda since NOV last year) have released updates for this player, unbranded and other copies never got updates anyway

china do not do album art as a rule and have only just started implementing it in some newer players

your player is, i am afraid, old and will never ... ever have album art nor changeable wallpapers, if you want those features we can point you to either cheap unbranded newer rockchip players (with easy skinning but no art) or branded chinese player with skinning, desktop back changing and album art) but they are better quality, newer chips and supported

so in brief ,,,,, never gonna happen ... ever .. sorry

reason wh company cant send firmware ... because they know squat and are only resellers and dont care about after are at all and they will not have access to any firmware at all, bet they dont even know what it is .. and thats not uncommon
