RockChip Touchscreen

Just got my rockchip touchscreen today off ebay for $50 brand new, opened it up works good and everything, I don't like how its a pain in the ass to get to work with vista though, it takes me like 5-10 tries to get it to show up as a working mp3 player and for vista to recognize and allow me to put music or anything else on. Wondering is there a fix for this?

Also wondering, why are some of the artists names not showing up? It shows up on some songs but alot of them it doesnt but it does on my comp. Thanks for the help.

can you shho us which player you have

a for vista, no clue, dont have it and wont have it

also your tags may be incomplete (id tags) especially if illegally downloaded of a share site)

I have Vista and it's not as bad if you have the resources to run it, but to be honest the only really useful features are the search box and DX10.

Are you sure your USB ports are working right? This doesn't seem to be an OS but a hardware issue. Also try another cable, the cables most players come with are faulty.

As for the song names, makd511 is right, it's due to missing ID3 tags. You can recreate them with software like MP3 Tag Tools, or you can use Winamp's Auto Tag if you don't want to do them by hand.

Would find mp3 pic online but it's been forever since i've done anything on pc so I forget how to paste pics.

Unplugged it and it seems to be fully charged also the flickering screen stopped after i unplugged it... no idea whats going on.. One last question, sorry for piling em on just want to get it out of the way, where can I dl a converter for movies so I can watch them on here?

Alright this is almost my exact player

The screen flicker seems to go away if the batteries over half charged, not sure about that... anyway, like 2 more questions and i should be set, for one is there anyway i can organize my music on this or does it have to go on in order? Also, ive seen modding programs for these to change stuff in the mp3 player, will these work with mine and can i change colors, icons etc.

as for organisation, i can tremember if it does it automatically by alphabet or if it shows the list depending on which files was copied over first, either way you dont orgaise and the player does not organise for you, ou need to do it and seperate it all into the order you want it

Thats not my exact player but it's very close, my player has 1 external speaker at the top. Also I can hear radio through headphones but not through the external, music on the player however through both, kind of odd.
