Element Electronics mp4 players model #gc-1020?????

I bought the Element MP4 Player last night Model #gc-1020,and when I turned it on every thing seemed normal, all buttons worked, but I tried to drag and drop (copy & paste) videos and MP3 and it copied them to the mass drive, but when I went into the music menu and couldnt find the MP3's or in the video Menu and couldnt find any of the vids,I called the support # and they told me to "Format the mass Drive" which I did and still nothing,They told me something could be wrong with the Player, but I just purchased it last night,Could this be possible??I also searched google for any firmware that would update or help my problem, and nothing..need help.....

Re: Element Electronics mp4 players model #gc-1020?????

my new GC-1020 defaulted to chinese when first turned on - can anyone take me through the steps to switch it to english?

I need very simple directions, such as "go to settings, then use the third subgroup, then the second subgroup.... because every subgroup label is in chinese, not my native language.

Plan B is take it to a chinese rest., because element support seems to be permanently out to lunch.

Either post it here, or send it to ksemt132@hotmail.com

Thanks!!!

I can't really determine the chipset from the description... but it might be a Rockchip player.

Open it up to find out.
