Apple software doesn't connect and space from 1GB to 470MB

i have a chipod same like ipod nano when i connect it with apple software it doesn't connect i want to restore it's software version but i am not found any one to update it i also lost its space 1 gb to 470 mb now what i do with this do you have any suggestion give me urgent

It's not a real iPod, if that's what you were expecting you should've done some more research before buying.

You might have faked memory size, real size may be 512MB.

Open it up and post part # of board, CPU, and NAND flash.

Better yet, go look up the NAND's part # and see the true capacity for yourself.
