Default Ipod Clone nano 3^ gen.


Hy,
i have just buy one player style IPOD NANO 3°gen. 8Gb.
I don't can format with MP3 Player tools because he sayd "no detected removable disk" but otherwise WIN XP and HP Format tools read this.
XP and HP read 8Gb, bur MP3 Player tools after say that non detected player it make to see me 4Gb but is impossible formatting.
Why?
My player have this firmware:
20080721-4636:4677M

s1fwx not detect player for extract firmware.

Use different version of player utilities.

Firmware version shown in setup menu is almost meaningless. If you want a better identification you'll have to open it up and find the part# of board and CPU.

i have try other version of Mp3 player utility but nothing, the flash isn't recognize.
The firmware version that i read to "info" in player setup is:

20080721-4636:4677M

and nothing.

Have you tried formatting it just using WINDOWS instead?

Looking at your player's firmware version, it's NOT an ACTIONS chipset player, so the MP3 Player Utilities won't work on it unfortunately as that only works on ACTIONS chipset based players.

I open my MP3player and have see chip of flash SAMSUNG K9HCG08U1M and i see another chip SGS651.
How CPU type is this?
And after, where I must watch in order to see the BOARD-ID?
Is this?
ANV008-Apple3 speaker key rev 1.1 RoHS 2008-07-31(L)

Your player has a real 8GB flash.

I have no idea what the SGS651 is. This player does not appear to be Actions-based.
