I am getting some kind of interference or noise on my "MP4 Player"
... which, apparently is some kind of "VX858 ONDA CLONE".
The noise is loudest when something is changing on the screen.
The noise is most noticeable when something quiet is playing.
For instance, I hear a little tick each second as the MP3 position
increments during playing. Also, when the screen blanks into
power-save mode then all interference goes away.
I hear the noise most strongly on sensitive silicon-in-the-ear
headphones but I don't notice anything for louder music on my regular
over-the-ear neckband headphones.
Am I correct in assuming this noise is interference from the LCD?
Is this kind of noise normal with clone MP4 players? Is sending
in this MP4 player for a new unit worth the $8 shipping charge?
Or will I just get another player that makes the same kind
of background noise?
I bought a unit that looks like one of these:
8GB Touch Screen 2.8 LCD FM VIDEO MP3 MP4 PLAYER+GIFTS
