Hi sachitmaskey,

So you're saying the next and previous song buttongs don't work? Have they worked before in the past? I'm thinking if you can't skip songs, then it's more the HARDWARE button itself that is the problem.

It sounds more of a physical hardware problem than a software as you mentioned it worked before and now it doesn't work.

If you press it down really hard, does it work? What if you try opening your player and checking the connectors on the actual board? Wonder if the push button has started to worn off that's the problem?

Open the player and renew the tape holding the button disks down. One of them might have shifted out of place from the stress.

Reinstalling firmware will not help.
