Rockchip Touchscreen 8gb mp4 player

Hi Guys

Just recieved this player and it was fully of functions that I wanted in a portable player

BUT i've got some questions

1) what should I be using to convert avi's to work. AVconvertor works, but the sound is out of sync.
2) The ebook (pdf reader) isn't recognising any ebook that I put on it
3) The only way the player charges is through the AC adaptor. It doesn't charge through the usb cable. Is this right ?

Thanks guys

Hi i also have the same player, just drop the music(mp3) files in the player using windows explorer. I made a folder, name it Mp3s and drop them in! Have the same question as gunn with the e-books but have no problems with movies. I use vidrop, have no problem with audio in extra settings i use extra stereo.

Hi gunn,

I'll try to help answer your questions.

1. viDrop should do the trick for you find. I've seen you've already used it. I'm not entirely sure on how it works as I haven't used it personally. I would suggest posting a question in the thread about it or looking around to see if someone else has asked that question before.

2. As far as I know, none of the MPx players out there read .pdf files natively. So far, they can only read .txt files. Is there a SAMPLE book file in your player?

3. Not charging through USB is most likely due to a faulty USB cable. I would suggest try to get another USB cable to see if that works. Also try different ports on your computer as well to make sure it's not the USB port in your computer.
