Modifying .fw firmware file?
 

Good day. I have a firmware file (.fw) which is the firmware file of my mp4 player.. I want to reskin my mp4 player which is Action Chipset.. I cant extract the firmware by s1fwx but as i have said i have the .fw.. How can i modify the .fw file?

Have you tried opening the .fw file from s1res instead? That's used to modify firmware files. However, do bear in mind one critical thing, are you SURE the .fw file is the firmware for YOUR player? That's the most important thing because if it's not compatible for your player and you reupload it back into your player, there's a good chance you'll get a 'dead' player instead.

yes but there afi files only not the files to modify the firmware.. Yes im sure this is it.
