Loading.... Please help me christmas present

Please can someone help me im in abit of a panic. I own a KM-M2808A 4GB PDA MP4 Player i brought it a few months ago form my friend when he purchased a few of them. I put it away in my cupboard for christmas for my neice, but i came to use it and it was giving a blue screen just saying "loading..." my friend took a look at it and figured out that if we press and hold the two buttons on the top then turn it on we get a blue screen and the message "insert usb line to use usbdisk" i then plug a usb lead in and get "NOW BIOS VERSION: k118 MSLC_V0.3.9"
"Press OK key to format"
"Press other key to not format"

So we used this to format it, it gives three flash drives PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help with the system files to get this unit back up and running i dont want to let my neice down for christmas and i dont have any money now to buy anything else for christmas :(

The drive sizes are as follows:
approx 104,585,216 99.7MB First Drive Letter
approx 4,118,528 3.92MB Second Drive Letter
approx 4,150,263,808 3.86GB Third Drive Letter

I also carefully opened the unit by carefully removing the black bezel by sliding under it an old cash card then removing the two small screws i was able to collect the following information. Im hoping with all these details someone will please be able to help me...

KM-M2808A 4GB firmware k118 MSLC_V0.3.9 k118-038pcbverc3 2007/07/17 samsung 807 K9HBG08U1M PCB0 SAK89P3

I have also placed a photo of the unit on the internet

PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME I WOULD SO MUCH APPRECAITE ANY HELP..

regards
Richard

Hello i dont know if this helps but the photo showing a unit like mine also shows how the os looked before the unit was formated after its failure..

i will try the above hopefully it will help but i have tried copy files from a firmware.7z.rar i found on the internet but it didnt do anything maybe i did something wrong.. as my unit only has two buttons on the top and the on/off on the bottom the left button on the top has a open padlock with a power simble next to it and the other top button has a camera on it the bottom button is just off/on slide switch..

i hope i can get it to work :( before i run out of time...
