Please I need help if you have any information or send answers to the following electronic address willortma@hotmail.com |
Hi willyman,
Have you done anything to your player before this problem happened or did it happen all of a sudden? Also, has it ALWAYS happened or just suddently? The three easiest things to try is: 1. Another USB port on your computer. Make sure you don't connect it to a USB hub as that probably won't have enough power to power your player as well as the hub. 2. Try another computer and see what happens. 3. Lastly, try a DIFFERENT USB CABLE instead. It has happened many times where the USB cable is faulty and produces this problem. Try those and let us know of the result. |

Ok, I'm trying to get the back cover off and its not coming off very easily and I don't want to force it. It only has one screw on the bottom back left.
I have taken some pics as well, maybe that will help out. http://richieanderson.dyndns.org/misc/MP4/100_0604.jpg http://richieanderson.dyndns.org/misc/MP4/100_0605.jpg http://richieanderson.dyndns.org/misc/MP4/100_0606.jpg Thanks! |

anyway, i got my player working. i disabled the "Unknown Device" in device manager, then discoed/reconnected my player and windows recognized it as a USB Mass Storage Device, woo! I had to re-enable it, that messed it up again, but as soon as i discoed/reconnected again, it worked great! installed "iTunes Sync" so i can sync my music. maybe this will work for you too willyman. |

READ the other threads here, if you did you would know what to expect inside and what the different parts are.

I have READ the other threads here, just because I have READ other threads doesn't mean the I am and EXPERT and the I KNOW what a cpu chip in a player looks like. Have a nice day.

I have that same one pictured above
Hey I have that same 'ipod' pictured above, however mine when turned on or connected to a pc will only display an hourglass. It will never progress further.
When I connect it to a PC no matter what port I use and/or cable it still wont be recognized. It asks for a driver file, but I dont have one. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Like the picture above I will type what my memory chip says on it HYNIX K0R HY27UT088G2M TPCB 022H MTUJ4529JQ3 |
