Default Can't write any files at MP4 player

Hello, a friend of mine just lend me a Techsonic 1815F+ MP4, 1 Gb. I can't copy music files to it (either from Windows itself, Windows Media Player, or the Media Mangare that comes on the CD provided in the box), there is a "file not found" error and the player disconnects from the PC.

I've already tried the remove Memory Hack guide (but it's not a capacity issue,I cheked that), formatted it several times (it only made it worst, now there are no files at all). However the firmware seems to be fine, I can still access the player's menus. Can you guys help me write back the files? Thanks.

EDIT: I tried copy .txt and .doc files, just to see it they get into the player, and they do. But still can't copy MP3 or JPG.

Is this an Actions, Rockchip, Anyka, etc. device?

Hi rush4you,

I think it's a problem with the memory or you may have some bad sectors on the memory of your player. However, a few formats should make it better but you said it's still having a problem.

Some things to try:
1. Try using a DIFFERENT USB cable.
2. If that doesn't still work, try it on another computer.
3. Are you connecting the USB cable from your player straight into your computer or into a USB hub or USB port on your monitor? Make sure it goes directly into your computer instead.

Let us know how you get on with those.
