Please help me getting some info about my MP4-player!

Hello!
I am new here, so sorry if I have choosen a wrong section! I purchased a 2GB MP4 player. It's specifications: rockchip 2,4" (touch key "buttons"), 260k display, MP3/WMA/WMV/ASF/WAV/AVI/JPEG etc. formats support, micro SD card slot, li-ion, I've attached a photo of my player here.

My problem is the following: I can't get any information about this player. I bought it as a "My audio" product, but in the user manual "Rockchip digital mp4 player" is written. I can'T get any info about firmwares, because I don't even know the serial of the player. If I go to the system settings, the following is shown: VER: 00.00.0000
Date: 2006-06-20

I need a new firmware, becuase the speed of data transfer is pathetic and sometimes the menu slows down.

Notice: the earphones are not orginal, I replaced them, due to their quality!

Is there any way to get information about the chip which the player uses, by software, or do I have to use screwdrivers to recognise it? Because I still didn't find any useful information about my MP4 :'((

there are 2 series of rockchip processors, the RK260X and the RK270X. If your mp4 can only support avi files encoded in divx than its a RK260X. dont try to update these players (i tried and now my touchscreen doesnt work). If it can support multiple video formats without conversion, its the newer RK270X. you will have better luck updating those. if you want more info than you will have to open the case. i hope this helps!

I used ChipGenius. The results:
Device Name: ++[G:][H:]+USB háttértár(RockChip USB MP3 USB Device)(RockChip USB SD USB Device)

PnP Device ID: VID = 071B PID = 3203
Serial Number: USBV1.00
Revision: 1.00/1.00

Device Type: Standard USB device - USB2.0 High-Speed

Chip Vendor: RockChip(???)
Chip Part-Number: RK260X

Product Vendor:
Product Model: MP3 Player

What could I do?

Maybe you can answer this: what is the maximum capacity of the micro SD card that the MP4 recognises and handles?

Can I use only a maximum 2 GB SD card???

I've not seen any RK260x player that supports SDHC, so I guess 2Gb it's the max size it supports.

:( So over 2 GB there are only SDHC cards? Isn't it possible that maybe the player can handle cards with more capacity (even if it is originally incompatible with sdhc cards)?
