Default [solved] how to transfer AVI's to MP4 player?

Hi.

I just got an "equip" MP4 player (4GB) that came with a 1GB TF microSD card.
I can download music onto it..but not avi files. so i downloaded this converter..

http://www.bestshareware.net/mp4videoconverter.htm

the one movie took 90 mins to convert to MP4 format, it is listed in the MP4 player...but when i click on it nothing happens. there are 2 "test" movies on the player..both have avi after the title.

what am i doing wrong?

What type of player is it? What chipset does it use?

Many of them do not play standard MP4.

Hi ammaretto,

The videos are transferring to your player fine, however the problem is that the video needs to be a SPECIFIC screen size and settings.

Try using this tool instead: viDrop - free open-source converter for RockChip players.

Also, are you able to UPLOAD your sample video files that came with your player as well? Then we can take a closer look at it for you.

Thanks for the update and thanks for letting us all know.

Are you able to upload your sample video to Rapidshare.com? Wouldn't mind having it on our site so other members can download it as a sample. Any more details about your player (ie: screen size, resolution etc) would be great and you can then upload it to our site under "Downloads" --> "Uploads by Members" on the left hand side menu bar.
