Blank screen appears
 

I accidentaly dropped my MP3 player few months ago and the screen went blank and I couldn't browse through the menu. However, by following the script I managed to find my way to the music and I was able to listen to it even without seeing what I am listening to :-D

Past few weeks this started to annoy me so I was wondering, is this a hardware error or...?

When I plug the player to the PC, it wents from black to white, nothing else. Thanks!

Hardware.

The backlight is working, but display itself is broken.

Most easily fixed would be cracked soldering on the cable between display and mainboard, if display itself is cracked it cannot be repaired and have to be replaced.
