Ideas on extracting v9 firmware?

How would I go about extracting v9 and up firmware? I know I have seen dumps of it on the web, but I don't know how they are obtained, I know s1fwx doesn't do it. My firmware version is the following.

LISON DESIGN
LSC_25106V_B1
2008-10-11
9.5.54
2008-07-06

4GB Ipod clone
Has AK2025 controller chip, Hynix flash (2 2GB chips)
Can the firmware be extracted with some type of hardware interface?

I am not afraid to get thrifty with a fine point soldering iron if you know what I mean...

The v9 firmwares available are officially supplied by the manufacturer.

s1clone can create image of entire flash chip, including the firmware.

No method is currently known but s1mp3.org is working on it. See their site for more information.

The trouble is that not all the vendors of the players give the firmware to te customers.Also many factories also don´t give any tool or firmware for update the players. Also the dumped firwares for the AK2025 or ver 9.5.3.4 firmwares don´t work.

_yah.... since, s1fwx doenst support extracting v9 and up, connect ur device den use s1res instead, instaLL it and cLick fiLe -> import firmware -> den next next next.....
