Mp3 player with sd card

I am disappointed with the 3 mp3 players I got from China. The concept was good, which was to use an external sd card for the memory. The problem in very poor and scrambled sound when playing. The setup disk appears to have the wrong firmware. No id info but boards id is SJ8806-a with rev1.1 and YCR 2005.09.02. I have tried to get the contact in China to correct the error with no success. Has anyone encountered this? The mp3 disk check/firmware does not recognize this setup.

Your help would be appreciated!

Silver SD/MMC MP3 Player + USB 2.0 Memory Card Reader

This is the exact location where they are still selling this thing on ebay. All 3 have a sound of distortion and slow play. Thanks for any help you offer!

blimey thats an old one!!!!

have not seen one of these for ages now, very early stuff there

i cant suggest anything, i imagine they are not making these for a long time, what they are selling is very old stock and you will get no where in trying to correct everything, they make them and then forget them

I feel it is a software issue the way it sounds. Where can I look for the software?
