There are some firmwares for players like this in the download section.

but don't even think about it until you have made a backup of the firmware you got already:-

Hi, and thank you for your respond. I saw the tutorial. I will do it but I don't know how to do a BackUp of my Firmware. I use Linux, not Windows... and I have a really good program that show the partitions of everything and I don't see the 60MB partition:

It works on linux too, I've tried it out but you need new Linux kernel v2.6.27 and you still need to copy RKusb.tag on to your player.

Thanks... I tought that I did not need that file on Linux using the Gparted... Now I can see the partition with the files on it. I´ve already did 2 backups like you said in the tutorial. Now I need a Firmware that can work with this MP5 player. I really dont know much about it. What firmware can my mp5 player use?

I wish to upgrade my Firmware so I can test if the noise is gone.

Edit:

One last thing... When I decied to put other firmware in my MP5... I have to delete the one I have and copy the new firmware folder to the MP5, and thats it?

Changing the firmware will do nothing to stop the noise. The DAC inside the player is faulty, you should send it back and get a replacement.

Rockchip players are pretty good, you should request a replacement one.
