Default "Format error" when trying to listen MP3's


Hello, I bought from ebay a 3rd gen nano ipod mp4 clone and I have a problem with it.When I try to listen to some mp3s and I get a "Format Error" Message.So what could be wrong and I can't listen to those mp3s??

Could be something with the filesystem, broken files and so...
Try formatting the player in FAT16, put your files on it again and see what happens.

Or, it's possible that your MP3s are in fact bad/corrupted...

Unfortunately format errors are a common occurance on players with hacked memory. Hacked players are designed to show however much memory the seller advertised. It even shows that that many GBs worth of songs have been loaded onto it. However, those 'songs' are really ghost files. When you play them the format error occurs.

Well, I did re "remove memory hack" tutorial and finally my memory is 2GBs!!!!! Not 8GBs!!! That's really bad!!!!but it works fine now I guess. I'm wondering...is there any Mp3-mp4 ipod like player that has ACTUAL 8GBs or 16GBs of memory? and where can I find it???Thanks a lot for your help guys.
