[solved] s1fwx dosen't detect any device

Hello

I tried to extract my firmware with s1fwx but after pressing enter there comes the massage after "scan for devices...": "no device found". According to the knowlagebase there must appear the message "detected drives: <h>" but this is not the case.
Can someone tell me how I must do it correct?

Hallo Chris,

das gleiche problem habe ich auch. Selbst wenn ich einen USB-Stick anschliesse wird nichts erkannt. Das ist schon merkwürdig...

I have a 8 Gb Touchsreen Player from Rockchip. The Productname is RK27SDK.

s1fwx does NOT work with Rockchip players, is for Actions-based ones (aka S1 players)

If you want to backup your firmware, then follow this Rockchip FW extraction guide.
