Default Help with RK275DK back to basics

Hi everyone, first off, please forgive me for asking someone our there a huge favour.

I have purchased an MP4/5 player and the instructions that came with it did not match (I gather that is not unusual!) The model is RK275DK so if anyone has instructions on how to use this, I would really appreciate a copy.

The player also didn’t come with a disc and apparently I have to add firmware and I have no idea what this is plus there is no Resource manager etc. If anyone has the patience is there any possibility of stepping out the instructions of what to do and what not to do?

I know this is asking a lot but I am trying to get this up and running for a beautiful lady who is undergoing chemo and I thought this player would help her have some escapism for a while and I have to admit defeat in trying to sort this out as I am not technically minded and if you are wondering, I am a blonde (grin). ops:

Thanks for reading and I though myself at your mercy.

Stephanie

Ok, I am not sure how to load a pic but a similar version can be seen on ebay, the only difference is the one I have is only 8gig. The seller is Radio-Shop99 and if you type in the following

3.0'' 16:9 16GB Touch Screen MP3 MP4 MP5 Player FM new

It should bring it up. The shop name is Radio Shack. Although I didn't get this one here. Thanks for your help. As you can see I am a bit of a dolt when it comes to techy things. Cheers

Is your player similar to this: 3.0'' 16:9 16GB Touch Screen MP3 MP4 MP5 Player FM new?

You said you have a 8GB version right? But from the same seller - radio-shop99?

Firstly, you shouldn't need to update the firmware on your player, it should just work fine out of the box. Is it working fine?

So you're looking for instructions for the player? I have a similar player as well, but only a 4GB version. Let me what you need and I'll help you out as much as possible.

Hi there, the player seems to work but there was no disk included in the box and the instruction do not match the player. I didn't purchase it from Radio Shack but when asked for a pic of the player, this was the only site I could find that had a picture.

I am really sorry but I am totally out of my depth. Do I need to load Firmware or this not needed. When I opened the files on my computer there were no folders and I have just been loading my music in a folder I created. Is this correct or am I missing something. I am so embarrassed as I really don't know what I am doing. One of the questions I do have to ask is how on earth do I play the music in shuffle mode as it plays alphabetically and I know my friend would like to have the music playing randomly. I have noticed that there have been other comments about Rockchip but not on my model.
