What is this and how do I use it?
I ordered what I thought was an Apple IPod Touch from DH Gate based out of China. The device I received is most definitely not an Apple (no logo on startup, etc). I am not sure how I function this!!! I have taken it apart, and found the chip is an ANYKA AK3631L014402 FS0818
When I first turned the device on, it had a solid blue screen with a little box. After clicking the little box multiple times, I got to what I believe should be the main screen, but now I cant do anything. If I click on the Setting's Icon, it does nothing. I can not click anything!!! Does anyone know what this device is, how I can get it to work, or what firmware etc I need for it to function? I have put links to pics of this thing, it looks like a 1st generation IPhone, but it isnt that either. personally, send it back and make them pay for postage and if you used paypal then report them, i hate ths fake stuff, ok, clone the player but printing logos on is not good at all
besides, there is not much you can do at all with this, if it is broke then send it back and get a refund and buy something decent |

I've never had to dispute something like this before. I did use PayPal, so I guess they should be the best ones for using to get refunded? The device seems to want to do something, and maybe there is something specific I need to do in order to make it work, but I think it's just all around fake. I dont know what to look for on the main board to be for storage to know if there is something on there to be used. It has a slot thats a tiny square that looks like it could use a card, and maybe with whatever card that is it would do something, I just dont know. If anyone is familiar with what may be inside, I can take it apart and try to get some clear pictures.....otherwise, I'll just see what paypal can do.

at the end of the day the product does not work you were duped thinking it wass an ipod get in touch with the seller and organise a return get them to refund the full amout including delivery charges you originally paid and a cedit for costs of sending back they will try and fob you off, but do not stand for it, threaten them with a paypal complaint that they are selling fake goods no, while clones are acceptable and inevitable, going the step further of adding the apple logo is a no no, i am not an apple fan at all and care not a jot about them but i hate fakes and i hate it when people like you get conned personally i would report them anyway, but that is up to you |
Ok, I have started my dispute process through DH Gate. The seller has yet to respond to any of my requests to resolve the issue. I will allow the dispute process to go through DH Gate, then if nothing is accomplished I will work with PayPal. I have managed to get some pictures of the pieces of this thing. Its not easy to see in the pics what is around, any ideas on how to make it a little more clear. Maybe a video or something, I'm not sure, but here go the pics of the inside:

to the south of the battery, the chip on the left hand side is the anyka chip mentioned in the first post. on the right hand side is the camera piece. ill try making them bigger and reposting.

I figured something was defective, and I am in the process of returning it. I was supposed to be getting model # MA623LL/B which is the Apple IPod, so this was going back regardless, but was interested in figuring out if it worked or not.
