glacier wont charge
 

I have a glacier. I think its a 2gb. I use to charge it with the ac power adapter. But I have not used my glacier for about a year. I bought and used it to record lectures at school. Im thru with school so I havent used it in a good while. Any way I pulled it out to charge it and it would not take a charge . I might add my glacier for what ever reason never charged buy using the the usb to computer cord, but I could still down load my lectures to the computer thru the usb cord. Now when I try to charge it, it just flips back and forth from the title uxcell screen and the screen that shows it connecting to the computer. So I purchased a new battery. Thinking that would solve the problem. But it still does not charge just flips from screen to screen. The new batterry already had a charge so the glacier works fine, but still will not charge. HELP?!?

It sounds like a dodgy USB cable if it's flipping back and forth it tells me it's not connecting correctly. Either that or the pins on the player's board could be faulty or damaged.

Easiest thing to try is another USB cable and see if that helps.

Ensure power switch set to On position.
