Looking For QY-117V1-k 2007.10.15 control: HSD 0748
 

Hey everyone,
I have an MP4 nano-like chinese, The upgrade tool detects the following:
Device name : S1 MP3 Player
Productor : Wilson Co Ltd
Version : 9.1.52
I found this witten inside the MP4 :
The screen number is QY-117FV1-M 2007.10.15
The plate number is QY-117V1-k 2007.10.15
The control i think is HSD 0748 Not sure though
Now I was wondering what f/w Can I use

Hello if your player is working well, dont upgrade it with any firware....

BEfore you upgrade (if needed) extract fw from your player using s1fwx tool

I am not sure but maybe this fw would be similar

It's not working well, The only thing I get is a blue screen. Oh and the cntrol is AK1025, and the fw you gave me didn't work, version mismatch

MAn i suppose it has to work... what ecactly the upgrade tool says ?

I think it has to work too but ..

Attached is a screenshot of what I see from MP3 Player Utilities.

I'm using the latest version of MP3 player utilities (4.05)

Use different version of player utility.

HEy this is always caused by uknown signs in name of file... The chinese stuff... U can rename it and it will work... Or use product tool 4.19 :)

I tired both 3.68 and 4.06 and they both give the same error. =/

OH and ! In your picture you are uploading 3.0.08 on 9.1.52 ??? Why ??

If nothing work, short the chips again to get it to RECOVERY MODE (ADFU device) then it has to accept any fw !

Well in the picture the fw I'm trying to put is the one you gave me, which is supposed to be 9.1.52, so I suppose the upgrade tool is fault. But again, I can't find any "Product tool 4.19" on the net, the ones i DLed were archive damaged. Oh and even in ADFU mode, my MP4 didn't want to accept any fw.

Doesn't work either Groovy, It gives a damaged archive error. And I renamed the other fw you gave earlier, it didn't work, I even installed chineese language in my computer but still the same error.
It's really annoying I tried many many fw and none of them worked. And a good part of them gave the same error as in the picture above.
Edit: I managed to DL Product tool 4.19 but it's still of no use.

I have no fcn idea... try other computer... pfff

So the 4.19 shows error too ?

The error is: Damaged archive error ?

Archive ? Do you have problems in unpacking ?

There is nothing wrong with the firmware file. But it is in new encrypted format. Some player utility version cannot read it correctly.

Player Utility 4.15 and 10.00 both read it fine, and it is 9.1.52 version.

Thanks Lolita. Indeed now my product tool detect it as 9.1.52 And i've been able to upgrade my fw. But my screen is still blue. I'm wondering if it's damaged or if i'm doing anything wrong when updating the fw. It tells me " upgrade complete now it's going to close " . Then I switch off my MP4 player, then back on. and the screen stas blue .. The computer does detect it as a drive.
Oh and if I leave the MP4 on for a long time, it doesn't witch off .. means there's a less chance the screen is damaged.
and wtf, I just found out that I can't make folders in that drive, nor copy files to it ...

If there is no hourglass on bootup you have the wrong display driver.
