Default Accidentally removed files on S1mp3

Hi
I wanted to send music files using WMP to my MP3/4 player and it asked asked me whether I wanted to delete existing files and I cliked YES.This seemed to wipe off all music and others folders and everything else as I now get a message-

Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.

I still get all the heading present-Music-Movie-Radiorecord-VoicePhoto-E Book-Setup

Firmare states that it is ACT_V9.1.52
MP3 Hiseate

When I attach the player to the USB cable, the display shows that the computer and player are connected.

But the Message from the PC says USB has malfuntioned and is not recognised.

If you have an idea how I can resolve this please let me know.

thanks

Does Windows recognise your player at all now and are you able to browse the files o it?

The "USB has malfuntioned and is not recognised" message means that Windows can't see your player properly from experience. Are you plugging it into a USB hub or directly into your computer?

The other quick thing to try is another USB cable and see if that works.

You should also be able to just copy the files from your computer straight onto your player without the need of WMP as well.

Let us know.

Default Re: Accidentally removed files on S1mp3

When I go to "My Computer" I can see removable disk drive (G). If I click properties The whole disk is blue nothing in it. When I click explore ,the drive is empty. When I click on "music" on the MP3 player it states "empty disk".

The player is connected via USB lead to the USB port and was working fine before I tried to download more files.

When I try and send a music track to the MP3 player, ie right clicking on the mouse and sending it to removeable disk. A box comes up "Cannot copy ....The directory or file cannot be created.

I tried a different USB lead, with no change.

thanks alot
