Hello,
I brought an MP3/MP4 player off ebay for £26 and it is 16gb. After winning and paying, I realise the auction said "4GB Song Capacity Up to 4000 songs" (so where does the other 12gb go?)
As soon as it arrived I gave positive feedback straight away as it came fast(is) and it looked cool.
So i plug it in, but in the half disc (half a small disc, but the disc works) and installed the driver (which fails after the software (MP3 player utilities 4.00) is installed - so i have that. The programme doesnt seem to find the mp4 player and put music on there, and when i go to 'computer' I see the player (F drive anyway) but it fails upon opening, so i cant open it.
I have found out that the firmware is 'rockchip' (who are they ???) and after searching this site, realised I cant upgrade the firmware because its a "VX858 ONDA CLONE PLAYER". I found that out
Here.
Anyways, the person I brought it from is in hong kong and I brought it on ebay. I won it in the auction on the 31st December 2008 and paid on the 3rd January 2009. Although I gave good feedback, would it be possible for me to get a refund? Iv not put any music on there, its not bricked or nothing, and I still have the case.
What should I do? Please help as I dont know much about 'entitlement for refunds' and so on.
Kind regards,
James.
