Default "Track does not exist" after a few seconds


3.0 Touch 16GB MP5 Reproductor 3" PMP MP4 MP3 +Case+Pen

This is what i have except 8GB right when i put it in it found it ect ect ect then i went to put music on and it started but a few seconds or a minute or 2 it said in a pop up box this track does not exist or something along the lines of that so from that point on words i could'nt work the things in my external usb hard drive or even connect to the internet so rest my computer to see if it would work that way but no so i understood that everytime i plugges it in it if using the right word it disabled or malfunciioned my usb hard drive and my usb network adapter so please if anybody can help i will be thankful

Hi firtha09,

Phew, there seems to be a list of things wrong with your player.

So, here's something to try:

1. Try a DIFFERENT USB CABLE instead. Connect it directly into the USB port in your computer (don't connect it to the USB on the monitor or through a USB hub).

2. Try a different USB port on your computer to see if it's not a faulty USB port

3. Try connecting your player into another computer and see if you get problems with the "malfunction" you mentioned.

4. Try FORMATTING your player (backup whatever you want to keep beforehand though). Try formatting through WINDOWS as NTFS and see if that helps with your problems.
