G-TGS177SHOOS1221IPOD.fw download problem

I cannot open the file G-TGS177SHOOS1221IPOD.fw. Everytime i click on the file it appears with "a open with" dialog.Any help about this one?Maybe my computer cannot read "fw" file extensions.

Open with MP3 Player Utility.

Hello thank you Lolita i tried what you said and selected new firmware file opened it and there appears reading files but only just a click and disappears.What seem to be the problem?Also my computer cannot recognize my ipod as removable file only in device manager under "other device" unknown device
