Help i formatted my 2gb copy nano and now it is dead.......
Ok, i am new and foolish because:
I had a problem with an error code when transferring files to my player from my PC. I was advised to re-format and create a sub folder as a simple fix, and it worked ! Until i disconnected my player, now my computer cannot see the player and it will not switch on when disconnected. I tried to follow the steps in the recover a dead mp3/4 player article but i use Vista and i am not getting the same reponses. I used the tweezer technique but the pc still only sees the player as an unknown device not ADFU or USB. I could not find ADFU file in my windows folder either. I opened up the player, it has a samsung chip in it. It is a 3rd Generation Nano copy. If anyone can help me recover my player and then point me in the right direction for the correct firmware i would be very appreciative. Thank you Does anyone know how to solve this when using Vista? |

Post board ID and CPU, and BE SPECIFIC.
It doesn't matter if Samsung/Hynix/Toshiba/Whatever makes the flash, we need PART NUMBERS. |
