Default MP4 Watch - PUSHPLAY DIGITAL-007

Hi all,

I have a PUSHPLAY DIGITAL-007 1.5"Screen 2GB mp4 watch, as seen here;
MyMPxPlayer Gallery

It has SigmaTel stuff inside, so uses .SMV files for video and I've had to download the SMV Transcoder v4.1 converter since the CD didn't come with a Windows Installer .MSI file and was basically useless.

I've had no issues converting .WMV, .MPG or .MPG2 files, but I am unable to make .AVIs convert.

It's the usual lack of correct Codec, though I've installed the XP-Codec-Pack v2.4.6. I have been unable to get any other Codec packs such as K-Lite due to issues with connecting to sites. I thought VirtualDub might be of use, but I can't find the right one to work with my PC.

I'm about to start playing with viDrop 0.57, to see if that helps, though I'm not especially technically minded.

Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks,
Woody.
