Rockchip firmware please

Hello,

I finally had the guts to take my 4gb touch apart and found it should be (I think) an 8gb player. Here's the info I found on some of the chips.

Etrontech EM63616575-8g

Rockchip RK2608A B93298-0808

Is there any firmware I can use for this? My touch player read 4gb before I reformatted it and now it doesn't read any gb, plus it is only taking not even 2gb of video in it. It works now, but I'd still like to know if it can be upgraded or whatever to 8gb. Thanks.

Admin please feel free to move to correct subject. Thank you.

If you want someone to answer you, you should title your post with something a bit more specific than "Rockchip firmware please".

I think your player is already 8gb. That is, 8 gigabits, or 1 gigabyte. Firmware is not a magic elixir that turns little memory into big memory. You got what you bought.

I don't know why ppl don't do some reading and research before they go and format their player. Firmware upgrade almost never fixes problems, all you can do is customize menus and things which is just cosmetics, rarely adds new capability.
