Player doesn't read 90% of the songs
 

Hello a while back I bought an mp4 player off ebay from china
and its been acting up recently where if i try to sync music onto it its doesn't want to read 90% of the songs and it changes the songs each time i sync it
example: say i want to put song 1 onto my player but it wont do it, but it'll put song 2 on there but next time i go to sync it'll put song 1 on there but not song 2.
it also puts multiple versions of the song on the list so when i sync song 1 in the player itll be

song8
SONG3
SONG3
SONG3

Its an 8gb

It is not 8GB.

Open player and find part# of flash chip to confirm.

I agree with lolita. It seems you have a hacked player given the signs that it doesn't read 90% of the songs.

What I would recommend is following the steps in this post here: How To: Removing Memory Hack.

Then see how much storage you have afterwards.
