Default Possible to Add Another Memory?

I recently found out that my player has an extra space for another flash memory..

is it possible to add another? Will they work together?

do i need to format both?

---------------------------

I would like to improve my players sound quality.. the loudspeaker sounds like crap.. its very very noisy.. maybe broken too..

can anyone give me the specs of this speaker?

my player is a nano clone...
----------------------------------

one more thing.. i have another player that has a broken earphone port..
any tips in soldering?
----------------------------
thanks much!

It depends on the firmware. It should autodetect the second flash and use it too.

However, you need a firmware backup before you do it, just in case.

Make sure it's the same type of NAND flash. (MLC or SLC).
