Just purchased a chipod, no idea how to use it
I just purchased a "chipod" on ebay.
This is the link to the listing. 1.8" TFT 4TH 16GB MP3 MP4 Media Player 16go FM Video 5H I never received the disk driver that was mentioned in the listing. It seems to be in perfect working condition but I have no idea how to use it. I can't seem to find much help on the topic either (what I have found on the topic I don't understand) If anyone would be willing to point me in the right direction that would be much obliged. (I don't know whether or not I need to download anything, if the item is compatible to i-tunes or any other program, etc) IF ANYTHING PLEASE JUST TELL ME HOW TO PUT MUSIC ON IT! Thank you so much for your time! |
Re: Just purchased a chipod
Do some reading at http://s1mp3.org/
Note: That site is only for Actions-based "s1mp3"-type players, of which the ping guo si dai you have usually are. However there are other chipsets in use such as SigmaTel/Anyka/Sunplus/Rockchip, you need to identify your device as one if that information is going to be useful. |
Re: Just purchased a chipod, no idea how to use it
I have a similar player to yours.
Here are some basic instructions that will get you going: * If you have an [on/off] switch, leave it to the [on] position * Turn your player on and off by holding down the [Play] button * To get to the main menu, just hold down the [Menu] button * The left and right arrow buttons are for skipping or going back songs * The VOL button is for volume * It seems your player plays .AMV videos so you will need the MP3 Player Utilities (can be downloaded from this site under the "Downloads" link on the left hand side) firstly before you can play it on your player * Treat your player like a USB memory stick or hard drive. When you plug it into your computer, it shows up with a drive letter. Just copy and paste songs into that like you would to a USB memory stick One more thing, I think you have a HACKED PLAYER unfortunately. This is where the seller has hacked it to show more memory than it currently has. I haven't seen a true 16GB player before and I think your player has been hacked to show 16GB of storage when it doesn't have that much physically installed in it. It 'may' look like 16GB from Windows but you'll find you'll get errors if you try to full up your player. Hope that's of some help to get you started. Just play around and you should ok. Ask if you're not sure of how to do something. |
