If you can, try to find a software package to remove the DRM protection on the WMA file and then hopefully that should play properly.
Let us know if that works or not.

Don't know. Where can I find free test files? While I am a neophyte to these devices, I have worked with computers and electronics for years. I have noticed specific types (rockchip) mentioned on this site. How do I find out which 'family' mine falls within. I could then do my own research.
I must say this one seems to have a very 'cheesey' menu interface.
Thanks.
